Day
1: Arrival in Edinburgh
Arrive in Edinburgh and make your way to
your city center hotel. The accommodation is en-suite in a 3 star hotel only a
few minutes from Princes Street and the old town. Your welcome pack will give
you ideas for your stay in Edinburgh as well as recommending some good restaurants
and bars to go out to.
Day
2: Guided tour of Edinburgh
Explore Edinburgh! Included in the package
is an all day ticket for the Guide Friday open top [or closed!] city tour. This
is a fantastic way to see Edinburgh - the tour is a circular one, with a guide
on board telling you all about the city, old town and new. The bus will stop at
various places of interest, allowing you time to visit anywhere that interests
you - Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Palace of Holyrood, the museum, Greyfriars Bobby's
statue - and then rejoin the bus. The list of stops is endless and the pass is
valid all day. You can use it like a taxi service! Day
3: Day trip to the Highlands, Stirling Castle, Inversnaid & Return
to Edinburgh
Enjoy an escape to the majestic Highlands! We have included a
day tour to Loch Lomond National Park and Stirling Castle with Rabbie's Trail
Burners on a 16 seat Mercedes minicoach. Clients will be picked up at 10am from
our office at 207 High Street. First stop is Stirling Castle with its unique location
and fine views over the River Forth and the Wallace monument. Continue on into
the forested hills of the Trossachs, stopping for lunch in Aberfoyle, then heading
along to Inversnaid on the "bonny, bonny banks". Here views of Loch
Lomond can be enjoyed from the hotel or join your guide on a walk up through the
nature reserve for more spectacular views. Arrive back in Edinburgh at 6:30pm,
leaving plenty of time to enjoy the last night in Edinburgh before the next day's
departure.
